dc.description.abstractThis report documents and presents the results from the design of a Smart ID card for CEDAT students. Different smart card technologies are examined and the RFID contactless technology is selected. The MIFARE 1K Classic is the contactless card used for this project and its operation is detailed in this document. Attendance registration and access control are the functions tested to prove potential use. The code, procedure and apparatus used for testing are presented in this report.en_US
