This report formulates about our online police officer deployment system under th supervision of
Mr. Kizito John.
This final year project took a maximum of nine months which began on 20th March 2022 to
October. Some of the objectives of the online police officer deployment system are:
To develop an online police officer deployment system which easily allocates officers to their
work stations.
To carry out a preliminary study on the existing system used for deployment and come up
with a way of improving it’s functionality.
To design a model for the online officer deployment system.
This report has two sections including the preliminary pages and the main report having six
chapters, references and appendices.
Chapter one which contains the introduction, background, Problem statement,objectives,
scope and last but not least the significancy of the study of our online police officer deployment
system.
Chapter two contains the literature review which explains the critical analysis of research work
from internet sources, books, and individual studies that exist in relation to deployment.
Chapter three outlines the methodology which provides a discussion on the various approaches
that will be used to achieve the stated objectives of the project study. It also includes sections such
as the research design used in the project study, the study population to be used, the sample size,
data collection techniques.
Chapter four elaborates system analysis and design which includes the process of defining the
architecture, product design tools, modeling techniques that were used in the system development,
interfaces and also data for a system
Chapter five avails the results and findings we got after analyzing the data collected and how
the system operates.
Chapter six elaborates the conclusions and recommendation drawn from the developed online
police officer deployment system.
