dc.description.abstractThis study examines the impact of land dispute resolution mechanisms on land development in Jinja Central Division as discussed and illustrated in the chapters hereunder. This report encompasses a brief description of the activities, the experiences, and the outcomes of the research done. Chapter one discusses the introduction and background to the study, the problem statement and objectives of the study, significance, justification and scope of the study. Chapter two discusses the study’s literature review. Chapter three discusses the methodology adopted for the study. Chapter four discusses the study findings and interpretations. Chapter five discusses the study conclusions and recommendations. The main objective of this study was to build on the body of knowledge regarding subjects of land disputes, land dispute resolution mechanisms and their effect on land development. It was therefore, a hands-on experience to apply the skills and knowledge acquired in class to the study area.en_US
