A design of a pricing model of a single premium temporary annuity product
Abstract
The main objective of this thesis was to design a temporary life annuity product that pays out annual annuities for an exchange of a lump-sum premium. It is designed to cater for both males and females aged from 40 to 65.

The annual annuities increase with an increase of the entry age i.e., a 60years old individual is entitled to higher annuities compared to their 59 years old counterparts irrespective of their gender.
The product is easy to market as it is cheap, affordable and this makes it competitive too.
The purchase price of the annuity considered in this product is greater than 10,000,000 Ugandan shillings. The key assumptions made include interest rate, expenses, commission and policy fees.
