dc.description.abstract | The goal of this project is to create a computerized mini-electronics measurement device for the
lab that performs the essential duties of a multimeter, oscilloscope, and functional generator. A
mobile app connects the device to a smartphone for processing and display. Wi-Fi serves as the
conduit for communication between the device and the mobile phone.
The tool will make it possible for each student to receive individualized practical instruction and
will provide more functionality in a more portable device at a reasonable cost. The final year
project was focused on the development and integration of the oscilloscope component of the
device built on top of the already existing multimeter part developed earlier on. | en_US |
