dc.description.abstractThe report is comprised of five chapters covering various aspects of the research. Chapter one encompasses the general introduction of the study, the background of the study, the general and specific objectives which are ideal for all the aspects of this research. This chapter also brings out the problem that sought a need for this research, the scope of the study and points out the significance of the study. Chapter two contains the literature review as obtained from different articles, textbooks and scholarly documents by different authors that are related to this research in one way or another. Discussion of the literature by the researcher is also part and parcel of this chapter. This chapter brings forth the clear description of land use changes, and its effects on conservation of Karenga community wildlife area. Chapter three essentially looks at the different methods of data collection which included use of questionnaire, photography, interviews and literature review. It also contains the sampling techniques used during the interviews and highlights on the data processing and analysis process. Chapter four contains the findings and the discussion on the effects of land use changes on conservation in Karenga community wildlife area in Karenga Sub County, Karenga district. Chapter five is the last chapter of this research and it includes the summary of all the chapters and provides possible practical solutions to the major issues identified. It also includes the conclusion and recommendations towards key issues identified during the research.en_US
