dc.description.abstractThe study was on the imagery in Baganda folktales. The study specifically selected the Luganda folktales and examined the imagery in the selected folktales. The data were gathered through primary and secondary sources. The collected data was originally in Luganda and later the content was translated into English to aid easy analysis and to make it more understandable to people from different cultural background. The study adopted a qualitative approached and data was organized and analyzed using content analysis. The results revealed that there are folktales in Baganda society and they use these tales to preserve culture, shape behavior of young people and prepare them for future challenges.en_US
