dc.description.abstractThe study examined the influence of stress, self esteem and depression among high school students of K. Garden Groove College Buddo. It was intended to achieve the following objectives. To examine the relationship between stress and self-esteem on perceived students’ general wellbeing, to analyse the correlation between stress and depression and to examine the relationship between stress, self-esteem and depression among high school students of K. Garden Groove College Buddo. The study adopted a correlation study design. The study used 162 respondents and data was collected by the use of a self-administered questionnaire. That data was then analysed using a statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 21. The results of the study showed a positive significant relationship between stress, self esteem and depression. The study recommended that The student council in collaboration with the school management should organize games and sports activities for students, Management of the school should establish guidance and counselling units so as to direct students and address stress among them, School academic staff should revise the students’ learning hours and make appropriate reforms And Parents should be involved and enlightening their children about the negative outcomes of relationships so as to cool their libidinal energy.en_US
