dc.description.abstractThis study examines the detailed study of the effectiveness of symbolism in the selected Kifumbira Proverbs. The study analyses the symbols found in selected Kifumbira proverbs and how they are important. The study also involves direct translation of the proverbs from Rufumbira to English. The study also studies the importance of symbolism to bring out the intended meaning by the selected proverbs. The analysis reveals that symbolism is so effective in the understanding of Kifumbira proverbs. It also finds out that symbolism is not only important and necessary in Bafumbira but also important in other parts of the world.en_US
