My study is about how imagery is depicted in the selected Bugisu folksongs. To enhance my study, I looked at different types of imagery and that is visual auditory and tactile images. I deeply examined and analyzed these types of imagery in different selected Bugisu folksongs as they are examined in chapter four about data analysis. To make my study very crucial, I used different methods to collect the data, examined it and analyze the data through the method of observation, and interviewing different people of all ages in Sironko district. At the end of my study, how important imagery is among the Bugisu folksongs that I selected and how imagery is interdependent of folksongs. I therefore conclude by urging other scholars and readers to pay attention to my content, read it, examine it the more and understand it for the better use of images in the Bugisu folksongs because what has been discovered now and before is not enough and a lot of research and emphasis is much needed. The findings of my research are therefore to show how imagery as a topic on its own is very important in the usage and development of the Bugisu folksongs. However, the study concludes that the images elicited in the folksongs play a didactic role in promoting culture among the Bagisu.en_US
