dc.description.abstractThe topic of study was to find precipitation of bamboo as a structural material. the purpose of the study was to evaluate concrete, steel and bamboo as structural materials, to find out why the construction industry was not adopted the eco-friendly structural material. The study had three objectives which included: to determine the rate of production of concrete, steel and bamboo. to identify the risks involved in using the concrete, steel and bamboo. to determine why the construction industry has not adopt the other structural material. The research approach was quantitative, 31 engineers participate in the study out of the 40 intended respondents. The study concluded that there is a positive attitude toward the eco-friendly structural material which are relatively cheaper compared to concrete. the study recommends that the use of bamboo and steel and more research to be carried out on about the topic.en_US
