The objectives of the study were looking at the factors that affect the adherence of diabetic patients on diabetic medicine treatments. It was found out that there is a statistically significant relationship between the two variables.
Basing on the findings of the study, it is recommended that more sensitization should be put in place to help patients be informed about their health, to be educated and also made aware of how to take good care of themselves especially on the side of females as well as be trained on how to have a strong financial base as this can help improve on availability of diabetic medicine.
