Supply water utility companies are affected with timely and reliability with which information regarding the state of water they supply to various consumers is being delivered to the required personals. This greatly affects such companies since the currently employed method is manual operated with challenges such as labor intensive, inaccurate, not continuous and also time consuming. In order to minimize on these challenges, there is need for approaches that more accurately monitor the state of water before being discharged off to various consumers and provide this information in real time. In this project, an IoT approach is proposed, which remotely monitors the quality of water using LoRa based technologies and delivers information in real time. The proposed approach involves various sensor nodes that pick up analog signals at one end node and transmits such signals serially via LoRa based Technology module (E32-433T30D) and E15-USB-T2 up to the control center in which this data is stored in a data base, for the current state of water various values are displayed onto the dash board. It also has an sms feedback system, in case one of the monitored parameter is out of range and the personal responsible is not near the dash board an alter message is sent to him/her for immediate response. We used water that is distributed and supplied by NWSC since its easily accessible and also monitored water parameters such as pH, Turbidity, Conductivity and Temperature.en_US
