Synopsis: A peasant family of Mr. and Mrs. Ssekiziyivu from Kyewunya village work so hard to educate their first born daughter Naki. She studies so well that she completes her education untill university. Her parents then task Naki to look for a job and educate her young siblings since they have invested a lot in her. Time comes as Naki embarks on her journey of job hunting in Kampala City where she faces a lot of challenges. She enters various offices and writes a good number of application letters but she is let down simply because she has no connections. In some offices she is sexually harassed as the directors try to seduce her into sexual affairs claiming that those are interviews she has to do. After a long period of frustration, being jobless, Naki overhears on radio about an agency advertising for jobs abroad. She discusses it with her parents who accept the idea as they see this as the only hope of freeing themselves from poverty. The family borrows money from a village Sacco expecting to pay immediately after Naki starts to work in Oman. On her arrival, she expects to be treated as a visit as tradition is in Kyewunya but to her surprise she is mistreated. Finally, she is rapped by her boss' husband who advises her to escape before anyone gets to know about it. She remembers what her boss promised to punish her with and she makes up her mind to return back home and start up her own business.
