Course, student’s prior history of engaging in business, and the belief of benefiting financially in business influenced significantly student’s participation in small scale businesses (p (0.003<0.05). None of university factors influenced participation in small scale businesses. The university needs to set up an independent program to encourage people to adopt participation in small scale businesses, this will help to raise job creators thereby helping to alleviate the job employment crisis in the country.en_US
