| dc.description.abstract | This research examines the aspect of unity and cooperation in Runyankole traditional proverbs in perpetuating contemporary issues. The Banyankole are a group of people who are based in the western part of Uganda. The Banyankole are patriarchal in nature, with the role of male and female well differentiated. The research was primarily qualitative; questionnaires were designed, and interviews were carried out. As I anticipated, the study discovered that Runyankole traditional proverbs perpetuate contemporary issues, attitudes-about different people in society and roles in advancing the aspect of unity and cooperation. | en_US |
