The fashion industry has impacted the women's health and gender in numerous ways through the
modeling scouting guidelines.. Fashion modeling is divided into 4 categories:
1. Fashion – Editorial models, Runway models, Swim suit and Lingerie models
2. Commercial Models – Fitness models
3. Promotional Models
This research shall henceforth study the impact of the dictatorial /non inclusive nature of the
scouting rules to gender and specifically women's health.
Initially, the fashion industry was dictatorial when it came to different social factors such as race,
color size and height. But with successful class ancho, the industry became inclusive to these
factors such as race and color. However, the standards set by the rules still remain
discriminatory and detrimental to women's health
