dc.description.abstractThis research study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the absorption rate between office and retail in Commercial properties. The absorption rate is a key indicator of the health of the real estate market and is often used to determine the demand for office and retail space. The study collects data from questionnaires filled by property managers, office and retail tenants, to determine the factors that affect the absorption rate in both office and retail space. The data analysis reveals similarities and differences in the determinants of absorption rate between the two types of commercial spaces. The study also analyzes the current levels of occupancy and the time it takes to lease vacant retail and office spaces after the previous tenant moves out. The findings from this study provide insights that were used by real estate professionals, investors, and property owners to make informed decisions regarding their investment in commercial properties. This research study provides a comprehensive analysis of the absorption rate between office and retail space in Commercial properties. The findings from thus study have the potential to inform and guide the decision making process of real estate professionals, investors, and property owners who are looking to invest in commercial real estate.en_US
