dc.description.abstractThe research aims to investigate the impact of the evolving roles of quantity surveyors on their profession's service delivery. The specific objectives of the study are to determine the level of awareness of the profession's new roles, investigate the challenges faced by quantity surveyors in executing the new roles, assess the drawbacks faced during quantity surveying professional service delivery, and determine the relationship between the evolving quantity surveying roles and professional service delivery. The study is significant in improving the quality and manner in which varied services are offered in order to satisfy consumers and remain competitive in the field of expertise. The scope of the study is academic, covering Uganda's Kampala district. research report analyzed the impact of evolved roles in the quantity surveying profession on professional service delivery in the construction industry. The research report emphasizes the importance of raising awareness about the profession's new roles among quantity surveyors and stakeholders in the construction industry. It also highlights the significance of investing in the development of quantity surveying professionals, providing them with the necessary training and resources to effectively carry out their evolving roles. The study found that the profession has undergone significant modifications to meet the changing demands of clients and outcompete other experts in the construction industry. The majority of respondents indicated that the evolved roles have greatly improved service delivery. However, challenges related to communication, collaboration, and training were identified. The study highlights the need for increased awareness of the profession, as well as investment in the development of quantity surveying professionals and the adoption of new roles to meet the changing demands of clients. he findings of this study have important implications for the future of the quantity surveying profession. Organizations in the construction industry can utilize these findings to improve service delivery, enhance client satisfaction, and maintain a competitive edge. By embracing the evolving roles, quantity surveyors can adapt to the changing demands of clients and contribute to the overall success of construction projects.en_US
