A project report submitted to the Department of Physics in partial fulfilment for the award of a f Bachelors of Science with Education ( Physical) degree of Makerere Universityen_US
This project involves building a sun tracker with360 degrees capability to follow and concentrate the sun's rays. The circuit uses a voltage divider consisting of Light Dependent Resistors(LDRs) to detect the position of the sun and sends electrical signals to the window comparator which compares the signals and rotates the motor which in-turn rotates the parabolic dish so as to concentrate the sun's rays to one position(receiver). This project was successfully designed, constructed and tested. it was able to work as intended . I recommend that it can be adapted in street light solar panels and sun based heateren_US
