This is a project report about the development of an application that will enable mobile transactions via a SACCO management platform that will solve the ’Geo Challenge’ where individuals find it difficult to always access the services of their SACCO groups physically. The report consists of six chapters: Chapter One focuses on the background we based on to evolve our problem statement, a clear description of the problem we aim to solve through our project, the main and specific objectives of our study, and the scope and significance of our study. Chapter two reviews the previous works done similar to this study. It describes the existing SACCOs, the challenges they face, their existing systems, limitations, and weakness of these systems. This chapter also describes the research that has been done on particular topics that may be incorporated into our system. Chapter three describes the various methodologies used during the study. These include the data collection techniques involved, how we analysed the collected data and evaluated it. Chapter four consists of the System Study, Design, and Analysis of our study. Here we look at the findings from the questionnaires and interview sessions held. The chapter also shows an analysis of the data from the respondents. The system architecture, requirement modelling, process modelling, and also data modelling are included in this section. Chapter Five describes the implementation, testing, and validation processes. Technologies used are indicated, and user interface screenshots, test cases, and validation processes are also shown. Chapter Six concludes the report with the achievements, challenges faced, recommendations, and areas of future research.en_US
