dc.description.abstractThis study is based on the analysis of humor in the selected Ngakarimojong folktales and how the elements of humor enhance the understanding of meaning. From the study, it is seen that humor is a form of entertainment, communication, and promotion of cultural values among the Karamojong. the study was viewed from the literary perspective, and sampling, participatory interviewing, and observation were the methods used for collecting data, works of prominent scholars in oral literature like De Gruyter, Willman john, and Dr. Ayo Kehinde among others were used to guide this work. The main purpose of this research is to teach the youth and open the eyes of the people towards the engaging part of humor in their culture.en_US
