Abstract

The study covered, The theme of love in selected Ganda folktales. It was indeed inspired by the each and everything, how they treated everyone and how they would handle each and everything evident in their folktales that are rich and embedded with morality lessons and entertaining for Buganda culture and their values of morality, respect, wisdom, that they put a great deal of This study reveals the role and how the theme of love is depicted in Buganda folktales and how it emphasis so as to promote the community free from vices in the society. The presentation of the theme of love in various folktales is presented in various is portrayed in the society. The Baganda were and they are still very inventive in their creation as types or ways which show to young people how to love and what the best route is to take on.
