Assessing the readiness of investors to take up reits as an alternative to real estate finance in Uganda
Abstract
This research paper examines the readiness of investors in Uganda to adopt Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) as an alternative form of real estate financing. The study investigates the knowledge, attitudes and practices of REITs origininators, assess the knowledge, skills and attitudes of REIT implementers and develops a working structures for a REIT model. Overall, the significance of a robust real estate financing industry in Uganda. By providing insights into the adoption and implementation of REITs, the research can help to create an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of the real estate sector in Uganda
