dc.description.abstractLiterature on the transactional leadership, leader trust and job satisfaction has primarily been advanced in various domain with different approaches and applications. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between transactional leadership, leader trust and job satisfaction among employees of selected organizations. The objectives of this study were; to examine the relationship between transactional leadership and leader trust, to examine the relationship between transactional leadership and job satisfaction and then to examine the relationship between leader trust and job satisfaction among employees of selected organizations. A cross-sectional survey design was used as the research design for this particular research. The study used a total sample of 40 respondents who were administered questionnaires. The researcher analyzed data using statistical package for social sciences version 23 (SPSS). Percentages and Pearson correlation coefficient were used to test the hypothesis. The results indicated that there was a significant relationship among all the variables. Since there is a significant positive relationship among all the variables, this implies that an increase in transactional leadership will lead to increase in leader trust and job satisfaction respectively. Finally, several policies should be adopted by the management of these organizations to ensure that transactional leadership is highly conducted so as to enhance leader trust and job satisfaction among their employees.en_US
