dc.description.abstractThe Smart Baby Monitoring System presented herein offers an innovative solution for parents and caregivers seeking real-time insights into their infant's well-being. Leveraging Raspberry Pi technology, motion sensors, sound sensors, and a camera, this system continuously monitors a baby's vital signs, movements, and environmental conditions. The collected data is processed by the Raspberry Pi, employing machine learning algorithms to detect patterns and anomalies. The system's user interface, accessible via a mobile app, allows parents to remotely view live video feeds, receive alerts for unusual activities or sounds, and track the baby's sleep patterns. With a focus on non-invasiveness, comfort, and ease of use, the sensors are discreetly integrated into the baby's environment. This Smart Baby Monitoring System addresses concerns such as sudden changes in the baby's vital signs, crying, and potential sleep issues. The application of Raspberry Pi ensures a centralized, secure processing hub, enhancing the system's efficiency and reliability. The study of a survey on parental preferences and challenges in baby monitoring informed the design and functionalities of this system. The results indicated a strong willingness among parents to adopt such technology, emphasizing the importance of features like real-time monitoring, alerts, and historical data analysis.
