We designed and implemented an innovative infrared sensor system for accident pre vention on roads. The system can utilize infrared technology to detect objects in the car’s surroundings, providing realtime information to the driver and assisting in avoiding potential collisions. When an object is detected within a distance, the LED is triggered to emit a visual warning signal, while the buzzer produces an audible alert.bThesec ombined alerts effectively communicate the presence of a potential danger to the driver.During testing, the system demonstrated reliable object detection capabilities, effectively identi fying obstacles such as walls, furniture, or other solid objects. It is crucial for the system to be sensitive enough to detect objects at an appropriate distance to ensure sufficient reaction time for accident prevention. The LED component of the system provides a clear and visible visual indicator when an obstacle is detected. Additionally, the inclusion of a buzzer in the system adds an audible alert to supplement the visual warning. The buzzer’s sound is sufficiently loud and distinctive to grab the attention of the driver. However, it is essential to note that the performance of the prototype can be influenced by various factors such as ambient lighting conditions, the angle and sensitivity of the infrared sen sor, and the design of the LED and buzzer components.en_US
