The Drugstore Management System (DMS) is an innovative software solution designed to streamline and optimize the operations of modern drugstores or pharmacies. With the rapid advancement of technology and increasing demands in the healthcare industry, a robust and efficient management system becomes crucial for the success and sustainability of drugstore businesses. The purpose of the research project was to address the problem of poor inventory leading to shortage of drug shortage at Mulago hospital. In which we were able to solve the above problem of shortage. To develop the system data was collected using nterviews and observation. Content analysis was used to summarize and interpreted data collected during the interviews, from which the system requirements for the sign language and information sharing platform were derived. Microsoft Visio was used to design the context diagram, DED, ERDs, and use cases of the application. The design of the application was implemented using Android Studio for mobile application development, PHP for developing APIs and MySQL for implementing the database In conclusion, the research project led to the development of a system that can help the pharmacist be able to view the medicines available in the system and be able to request medicine, and the store manager be able to update the medicine inventory of Mulago, which helped to improve the management of the drug inventory of Mulago.en_US
