This report presents the design and development of the Automotive Technician Service Location System, an innovative platform aimed at connecting service seekers with qualified technicians for automotive repair and maintenance services. The system's primary objective is to provide a user-friendly and efficient experience for both service seekers and technicians, streamlining the process of connecting and delivering automotive services. The Automotive Technician Service Location System offers a wide range of features and functionalities to enhance the overall service experience. Service seekers can easily browse through a comprehensive list of available services, ensuring they find the specific expertise they require. The system enables them to submit service requests conveniently, specifying their preferences and requirements. To ensure a secure and seamless transaction process, the system incorporates a robust payment gateway, allowing service seekers to make secure payments for the services they have requested. This feature ensures the confidentiality of financial information and fosters trust between service seekers and technicians. The system also places a strong emphasis on feedback and reviews, enabling service seekers to provide their opinions and ratings for the services received. This feedback mechanism not only helps service seekers make informed decisions but also motivates technicians to maintain high-quality service standards. This research project has been conducted following a mixed-methods research approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods such as interviews, observation, sampling, and questionnaires to comprehensively analyse the system's effectiveness and user satisfaction. By following this approach, the researchers were able to obtain results from a carefully selected sample of respondents. The results discussed in this report were analysed using Microsoft Excel. The ATSLS system was developed using trending technologies such as MYSQL for the database, Flutter for payment integration, and PHP for the development of the web application, among others.en_US
