Because of Uganda's expanding population and the rising demand for dairy and meat products both domestically and internationally, cattle health monitoring is one of the country's current top priorities. Additionally, it is crucial to regularly evaluate the health of cattle in order to extend the lifecycle and maintain the quality of cattle and their products. Numerous diseases can spread from animals to people, thus it's important to know the health and disease status of cattle early on. This project implements an embedded device that monitors the health performance of the cattle and a web application that contrasts the results from the embedded system with the typical values for a healthy cow. The embedded device monitors parameters such as temperature, heart rate, acceleration, and the location coordinates of the cattle. The measured values are sent by a GSM module over air via SMS to a receiving SIM card, this data is subsequently uploaded to a database for processing by the web application, ensuring regular health surveillanceen_US
