dc.description.abstractThe research was on an investigation into the status of Nature Tourism and its implications for physical planning at Itanda waterfalls; Jinja District. It also includes the problem of the study which is specifically on the poor and inadequate infrastructure and how it affects physical planning and the vice-verse. The objectives of the study include; analyzing the existing tourism facilities and the related tourism activities in and around Itanda waterfalls, assessing the problems being faced at the waterfall and the adjacent areas, assessing the impacts of physical planning and design in boosting Nature tourism at Itanda waterfalls and to establish the best physical planning alternatives for sustainable development of Nature tourism at Itanda waterfalls and know the key stakeholders responsible for implementing and the roles they play. The chapter also includes the significance of the study topic, the justification of the study, the research questions and the scope of the study.en_US
