The project "A Smoke Precipitator" aims to design and construct a functional and cost-effective alternative for mitigating air pollution caused by particulate matter emissions. The generation of waste particles, including hazardous particulate matter, by various industries poses a significant threat to human health and the environment. Existing solutions such as precipitators and pollution control devices are often expensive, limiting their accessibility and widespread adoption Meyer (2015). The results of the project indicate the successful removal of particulate matter from gas emissions using the designed smoke precipitator. The project also identifies areas for further improvements, such as exploring advanced designs, enhancing voltage generation methods, evaluating alternative electrode materials, and conducting real-world scalability and field testing. Overall, this project addresses the pressing need for a cost-effective alternative to combat air pollution caused by particulate matter emissions. The findings contribute to the field of air pollution control and provide a foundation for future research and development in affordable and sustainable smoke precipitator technologies.en_US
