E-learning is the delivery of learning and training through digital resources. E-learning is a method of acquiring knowledge using electronic media which is gaining popularity among students. This study comprehensively explored the knowledge, attitude and practices of e-learning among third year undergraduate students of school of statistics and planning at Makerere University. With the global surge in digital education platforms, understanding the dynamics of e-learning becomes imperative for educational institutions. This study analyzed the association of background characteristics with KAP apart from finding the relationship between KAP. Random sampling was used to select and a total of 77 respondents was selected to respond to questionnaires. The data was analyzed using frequencies and percentages for descriptive purposes. The fisher’s exact test was used to determine association between groups, and correlation analysis was used to establish the significant relationship between KAP. The findings show that knowledge is not significantly associated with gender and age of the respondents with pvalue of (0.071) and (0.099) which is greater than p-value of 0.05. However, attitude is not significantly associated to the background characteristics that is gender and age since their p-value were greater than the critical value 0.05. Practice of e-learning is significantly associated with gender of the respondents since its p-value of 0.096 is greater than critical value of 0.05. However, practice of e-learning is not significantly associated with age of the respondents. KAP (knowledge, attitude and practice) is not significantly associated with background characteristics such as gender and age of the respondents. Knowledge, attitude and practice towards e-learning are interdependent of each other.en_US
