In the previous years, many things have changed in the Bugwere cultural norms and practices where people take riddles for entertainment rather than acknowledging the importance and message that lies in the images used in the riddles. The different phases in the riddles like antecedent, precedent, unraveling and others show respect, beauty, honor and values of creativity through imagery among the Bagwere. In the past years, Bagwere people by then, knew the purpose of these riddles which is not the case with today’s generation who just enjoy the riddles for only entertainment and even call them boring because at times they are lengthy and do not look at the deeper meaning and importance of these riddles. This is why it is important to all people of this generation to learn more on the riddling and also know the special painted images which advise people about the relevancy and values of these riddles in the Bugwere society.en_US
