Organisational Culture and Organisational Commitment of Nurses and Doctors of Kasangati Health Centre

Abstract

The study examined the relationship between organisational culture and organisational commitment among employees of Kasangati health center. The following objectives guided the study; the study sought to determine the effects of organizational culture on organisational commitment and the study sought to provide results that may lead to a deeper understanding of the nature and extent of the relationship between organizational culture and organisational commitment. A correlation study design was used in the study to establish the relationship between organisational culture and organisational commitment. This information was coded and edited to obtain meaningful data. The data was then analyzed using Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient under the statistical package for social scientists version 21. The study findings showed a positive relationship between organisational culture and organisational commitment so the relationship had significance. Since(r=.309, p<0.01). Therefore basing on the findings it was concluded that organisational culture influences organisational commitment among employees Kasangati health center.
