dc.description.abstractThe research investigated the relationship between personal factors,home factors and knowledge about climatic change among secondary school students.The study intended to achieve the following objectives,to find out whether home factors such as parental support and knowledge about climate change are significantly related.To examine the relationship between personal factors such as age,sex,class,and knowledge about climate change among secondary school students. The study used cross section design,the sample size of 143 respondents was used for the study comprising secondary school students from the senior one to six administered questionnaires were used to collect data and SPSS was used to analyse it. Tables and percentages were used to find out the background characteristics and knowledge about climatic change .The findings show that there is a significant relation ship between home factors and knowledge about climatic change among secondary shoo, students.The findings also show there is a significant relationship between personal,home factors and knowledge about climatic change among secondary school students. The study recommended that student should always be careful when they are learning about climatic change so that they can be equipped with more knowledge about climatic change causes and effects of climatic change.This is reflected in the findings of the study which showed that the increase in the level of education leads to increase in knowledge about climatic change.en_US
