dc.description.abstractBackground; The study investigated the factors that influence termination of pregnancy in Uganda. Thestudy investigated factors like Smokes cigars, cheroots or cigarillos, Type of place of residence, Current marital status, Wealth index, Current pregnancy wanted,and Current use by method type among others. Main objective was to identify he factors ha influence terminating of pregnancy Pregnancy between women in reproductive age Other specific objectives were to assess the influence of visiting health facility in the last months on incidences of termination,to examine the relationship between smoking cigars, cheroot and cigarillos on termination of pregnancies. Results;The study results showed that Wealthindex (p-value=0.000),Current marital status (p-value=0.000),Highest educational level (p-value=0.000),Smokescigars, cheroots or cigarillos(p-value=0.000)Current use by method type (p-value=0.005),currentlybreastfeeding (p-value=0.000) were found to be significantly associated withtermination of pregnancy Conclusion.according o he studresults women who are no married were more likely o terminatepregnancy because they are not readyto care for the cost of a pregnancy. Women in thepoorestwealthquintile were more likely also toterminate pregnancy as compared tothose in the richestquintile. Recommendation. Post abortion care should be provided a sub county level to enable women who abort and save their lives.en_US
