dc.description.abstractThe aim of the study was to find out the relationship between perceived organizational support and job satisfaction secondary school teachers. The objectives of the study were, to establish the levels of job satisfaction among secondary school teachers, to establish the levels of perceived organizational support among secondary school teachers and lastly to find out whether perceived organizational support and job satisfaction are related amongst secondary school teachers. The study was carried out among secondary school teachers around Bulenga in Wakiso district. A sample of 66 respondents was used where self administered questionnaires were provided to gather data and then data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) It was found that there is a significant and positive relationship between perceived organizational support and job satisfaction. Respondents depicted high levels of perceived organizational support and high levels of job satisfaction. It was recommended that policy makers should revise and set minimum wages for teachers compared to what other civil servants wages since teachers at both secondary and primary level tend to get less compared to what they put in which makes them dissatisfied hence neglect their duties as teachersen_US
