dc.description.abstract | Stress is the state of affair involving demand on psychological or mental energy. Self-esteem is the confidence and satisfaction of oneself. Depression is common mood disorder that affects how you feel, think and handle daily activities. These three variables are of significant effect on the lives of youths especially adolescents. This study thus is hinged on the premise that the researcher wanted to analyse the relationship among these three variables and how best adolescents can tackle them to have a better mental and psychological life.
Chapter one is where the researcher puts forward introductions and explains the problem at hand and how significant this research would be after completion. He further makes figurative assumptions and graphical presentations in the conceptual framework and objectives.
In chapter two, the researcher quotes, pitches and analyses what other scholars of these three variables have written about them and their interaction with adolescents and other various groups of people. He pitches two different issues like stress and depression, depression and self-esteem and self-esteem and stress and at the end of it all pitches the three together to see how they affect adolescents’ psychology.
In chapter three the researcher puts forward the methodology used in this study and how data collection was done. And in chapter four puts forward the findings of the study and what was discovered after the study that was held in Kawempe Municipality of Kampala City.
Chapter five basically gives a summary of the findings and recommendations to whoever is concerned about the adolescents’’ lives like government, non-governmental organizations, parents and the adolescents themselves. | en_US |
