Risk behavior, domestic violence and drug abuse among workers in Kasangati Town Council
Abstract
The purpose of the study will be to examine the relationship among Risk behavior, Domestic violence and Drug abuse among workers In Kasangati Town Council. A correlational study design that is quantitative was adopted to establish the relationship between both variables of which they were selected randomly. A total of 120 respondents, both male and female participated in the study. Data collected was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), where a Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was used to test the significance of the hypotheses. The study results revealed that there was a strong positive relationship between Risk Behavior and Domestic Violence 0.01(p=.003<0.01) at r=267**); was there was no significant relationship between Domestic Violence and Drug Abuse 0.01(p=.868>0.01) at r=.015; furthermore results revealed that there was no significant relationship between Risk Behavior and Drug Abuse 0.01(p=.408>0.01) at r=-.076
