dc.description.abstractThis report is a record of the seven 7 chapters indicating activities we undertook in the project under clear supervision and guidance. Chapter one comprises of the introduction of the report. This contains the background, objectives and specific objectives, problem statement and justification. Chapter two gives a detailed description of the different methods of determining runoff, stormwater management approaches, methods of determining time of concentration, catchment delineation and hydrologic analysis. Chapter three involves a detailed description of the methodology. This involved site visits, data collection, and delineation of catchment using ArcGIS and determining runoff quantity. Chapter four discusses the results attained in modelling the drainage system using Epa SWMM software. Also rainfall data is analyzed. Chapter five involves redesigning and dimensioning of the channel using the Hydraulic Toolbox 4.4 software. Finally, Chapter six involves the conclusion and recommendations.en_US
