dc.description.abstract | The objective of the project is to provide an automatic control and fault detection on street lamps
with a remote notification. The street lights monitoring system will always check if the street
light has failed to glow when required, and notify the technical staff for maintenance or repair.
On the control part of it, the illumination will be reduced where need be for example around
parking facilities, supermarkets among other facilities that have their own light. This will totally
reduce on the burden of identifying or locating faulty street lamps reduce on the energy
consumed by the lamps and as well ensuring a real time system. Consequently, there will be no
dark spots related to failure of street lamps. | en_US |
