A Web based y battery monitoring and switching control system is designed. System measures battery electrolyte temperature, current and voltage parameters of a typical battery in a distribution substation. Over the web, it is also possible to control switching of loads connected to battery. Three sensors are included in the circuit that is temperature, voltage and current sensors to detect the variations in the respective parameters. Output of these sensors is then fed to an analogue-digital converter (ADC). The micro controller then receives feedback from the converter and then communicates to the web for monitoring and control of the parameters in the desired ranges. A liquid crystal display (LCD) is used for displaying the temperature, current and voltage levels.en_US
