The Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS) are financial co-operatives that aim at meeting the financial needs of all members’ men/women, old/young, rich/poor in particular, by Encouraging savings and granting loans to the members. It belongs to its members who manage it (TUMWINE, 2015). The process of how the SACCO works may be tiresome, bound to make errors and costly in terms of employment of manpower to carry out some of these operations like bookkeeping if manual records are kept. The complexity of this process, therefore, needs a computerised SACCO management system that will help to carry out the operations performed by a SACCO. This computerised system will reduce the inefficiency and ineffectiveness in the SACCO operations. This project, therefore, entails the development; design and implementation of a SACCO management system for New vision SACCO using PHP, HTML, and some Java plus the Database in MySQL. The system is used by only authorised people within the SACCO. The administrators are the only ones supposed to use this system. The SACCO manager logs in, by putting in a password and user name, he/she then gives rights to others like the financial manager, the data entrant, loans manager and so on. He gives them the passwords and user names which they can later change after logging in. Depending on the rights given to you by the SACCO manager, is what you will be limited to when you enter into the system, for example, the loans manager only can be able to view and use the loans module. Similarly, the data entrant has only rights to the forms for entering data. The financial manager has partial rights and finally, the SACCO manager has full rights to the system, for example, he can even delete crucial data.en_US
