dc.description.abstractThe study presents the background, problem statement, purpose of the study, subject of the study, research questions, scope of the study that is geographical scope and subject scope as well significance of the study is also presented on study topic of perceived organizational support and employee commitment in the hospitality industry which was carried out from Save the children. The study presents the literature reviewed from different books, journals and other published materials regarding the concept of perceived organizational support, assess the scope and priorities of the internal audit practices in Save the Children in Uganda, internal control system and reporting ways and level of independence of the internal audit function in Save the children in Uganda The study presents the research methodology, research design, study population, sample size which was determined using Fisher’s method of sampling of determining sample size for Research activities, sources of data, instruments of data collection which included questionnaires interviewing above all data processing and analysis which was to be sorted edited and recorded. The study presents findings that were analyzed and interpreted as per information collected using questionnaires. Data was presented through the use of tables showing frequencies and percentages. The study presents the conclusions and recommendations in relation to the findings that was organizational support, is an important element of the hospitality industry in today's increasingly competitive business environment and therefore recommended to adopt different leadership behavior, to ensure some effort geared towards ensuring a positive relationship between Internal Audit Practices on organization’s performance also the area that the researcher may wish to research about in the future.en_US
