The Effects of Data Management on Ugandan Based Organisational Performance: Case Study of NSSF Uganda
Abstract
This study sought to determine ‘The Effects of Data Management Systems on Organisational Performance in Uganda: A Case Study of NSSF Uganda’. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive survey was used. Primary data was collected using a closed and open ended questionnaire. The sample for this study comprised of 60 NSSF Uganda staff.
The study findings revealed that majority of the respondents had various data management tools and systems at their disposal to enable them perform their duties. There was also a strong significant effect of data management tools and systems use and organisational performance at NSSF Uganda.
The study results indicated that data management systems use explain to a great extent of the organisational performance at NSSF Uganda.
The study recommends that organisations should embrace data management tools and systems services so as to have a competitive edge and improve service delivery to their customers.
The study also recommends that more studies should be done on challenges faced by data management systems use in organizations in Uganda.
