Determinants of Comprehensive HIV and AIDS Knowledge among Young Women in Uganda

Globally, HIV is the leading cause of death among young women and the unprotected sex is the main cause of HIV transmission. Lack of accurate and complete knowledge is one of the major causes of increase in the number of HIV infections in Africa. Uganda is among the countries that have been affected by the HIV pandemic, this study is therefore aimed at investigating the factors associated with comprehensive HIV knowledge among young women in the ages of 15 to 19 in Uganda. This study drew the data from the 2019 Uganda Demographic and Health Survey.
