Vision Group as a manufacturing company has faced continuous and increasing electricity prices and this has increased on the cost of production affecting its productivity. In order to remain competitive in today’s economic environment, Vision Group has employed a number of measures to manage the increasing electricity price. According to the findings of the research there varies factures influence the consumption of electricity in Vision Group. Some of them affect it directly others indirectly. The consumption of electricity in Vision Group mostly depends on;  Sales  External jobs received by the company through commercial printing  Number of staff that the company uses  Number of hours that mechines run. The above factors are the main factors which influence electricity consumption in New Vision. Sales and number of staff influence electricity consumption indirectly and the other remaining factors that is machine hours and external job influence electricity consumption directly. The operations of Vision Group entirely depend on electricity. This is because its operations involve the running of heavy mechines and electricity energy is the suitable source. Electricity in New Vision is always on in all the departments, this is because the company is always active (operating), the workers in New Vision work in shifts, they have two shifts where workers carry out their activities that is the morning shift which starts at 8am and ends at 5pm and the evening shift which starts at 4pm till morning but this applies to a few departments like engineering, broad casting (Radio and TV stations) and others, departments like finance has only one shift that is the morning shift.en_US
