dc.description.abstractThis paper presents you theoretical model on effect of adolescent mother’s knowledge on maternal health in Eastern Uganda. It then investigates how demographic, social and economic factors affect knowledge of a young mother on maternal health. It shows that maternal death is majorly among young mothers aged (15-19 years) especially those in rural areas. There is need for sensitization of adolescents on matters concerning contraceptives also the government should invest more in girl child education. Findings of the study found out that more research is needed on knowledge and attitude of adolescent mothers on maternal health.en_US
