dc.description.abstractThis research was conducted to examine the relationship between decent work environment, Employee Engagement and Organizational Commitment among employees of The Ministry of Health Headquarters Kampala Uganda. The study was carried out from June to July. The research results embraces the fact that employees are less engaged in organization activities like in decision making, this leads to organizational break down, increased losses and low commitment. The research used a correlation research design and data was collected through document analysis and discussions. The findings revealed that decent work environment and Employee Engagement are significantly not related .Employee engagement and Organizational commitment are significantly related and Decent work environment and organizational commitment are significantly related, which concluded that decent work environment increases organizational commitment and employee engagement increases organizational commitment thus increasing employee commitment .Employers should improve on the work environment so that their employees have less stress and high engagement which in return increases employee commitment.en_US
